Musically Gifted

The Musically Gifted section of the GPGC offers special classes and opportunities for students who wish to pursue a career in music (both vocal and instrumental), or who have a strong desire to pursue music as a vocation. Younger musicians can learn and expand their skills in private lessons as well as by participating in the GPGC Orchestra and Choir. They can also study music history and theory.

The program is seven weeks long, which provides for a greater depth of instruction, in more areas, without the normal pressure associated with shorter music camps. The GPGCs Musically Gifted program focuses on developing musical talent, but not to the extent that it precludes everything else. Participants will have the chance to take other classes, in academics and fine arts, according to their interest and will have ample free time.

Admission to the MG section is by taped audition. Please contact us for more information.
